"Beyond Entanglements 2"

This painting reflects my newest collection of work that deals with energy. There are many color additions along with intense mark-making interests. Some of the colors vibrate on the same frequency which causes some areas to really stand out.  Like many pieces in this series, it is composed on a large piece of Reeves printmaking paper, painted with acrylic paints and includes marks made with crayons & charcoal.

This piece is matted & framed in a beautiful Nielson metal frame & measures 37" x 51".

It was part of a Woman's exhibit at Mansfield Art Center. 2024 entitled

"Women's Work; Continuing the Abstract Narrative"
